Incheon to replace valves at Bupyeong Water Purification Plant without water supply cut

Key points in 3 lines

1. Incheon will temporarily halt operation of the third clear water reservoir at the Bupyeong Water Purification Plant and replace aging inflow valves, but tap water will continue to be supplied without interruption through a water system transfer.
2. The Bupyeong Water Purification Plant supplies all of Cheongcheon-dong, Sangok-dong, Galsan-dong and Samsan-dong in Bupyeong-gu, as well as parts of Sipjeong-dong and Bupyeong-dong, and the system transfer will be carried out in stages.
3. Some high-elevation areas of Bupyeong-gu may experience water pressure drops, interruptions or reduced supply during peak usage hours, and if cloudy water appears, residents should let the water run sufficiently before use.
