Seongdong-gu open 'Hyosarang Sowonseongchwi' programme, giving alone elderly a special day

1. Seoul's Seongdong-gu will fully launch the 'Hyosarang Sowonseongchwi' (Filial Love Wish Fulfilment) programme, which grants wishes of solitary elderly residents aged 70 and over.
2. In its third year, the programme is run by the Seongdong Senior Welfare Center, and targets elderly people living alone who are basic livelihood recipients or in the near-poor bracket.
3. Applications run from 29 May to 20 June, and after screening, selected participants will have their wish-fulfilment projects begin from July.
