Yeongjong-gu District to publicly recruit one fixed-term environmental official

To work from August through June next year... Resource Circulation Division accepting applications until the 16th

Posted Article No. 52364

Incheon’s Yeongjong-gu District (Mayor Son Hwa-jeong) is moving to recruit a fixed-term environmental official to manage street environments across the district. The district announced it will publicly recruit one fixed-term environmental official to help build a pleasant and clean urban environment.

The recruitment drive is intended to minimize gaps in environmental cleaning personnel that may arise within Yeongjong-gu and to provide residents with a more orderly street environment.

The person hired will work from this August through June 30, 2027, and will be assigned to a dong administrative welfare center to handle on-site tasks such as street cleaning and environmental sanitation.

Applicants must be Incheon residents aged 19 or older who are in good physical health. However, given the nature of the work, applicants must hold a driver’s license — excluding a moped license and a Class 2 small vehicle license — in order to apply.

Residents wishing to apply should fill out an application form and other required documents and submit them in person to the Resource Circulation Division at Yeongjong-gu District Office by Thursday, July 16.

Details on the required document forms, specific hiring conditions and the examination schedule can be found on the recruitment information board of the Yeongjong-gu District Office website (www.yeongjong.go.kr).

A Yeongjong-gu District official said, “We hope many residents who will work diligently and responsibly to make Yeongjong-gu a clean and livable place will show great interest and apply.”

The person selected through this recruitment is expected to help fill gaps in the district’s environmental sanitation work through the end of the contract period, June 30 next year.
